Ayer, 9 de febrero, se realizó la edición número 92 de los Premios Oscar, en el Dolby Theater de Los Ángeles. Aunque todo empezó según las tendencias, hubo una gran sorpresa. “Parasite“, la película de Bong Joon Ho, se coronó como la mejor de la noche. Ganó el premio a “Mejor Director”, “Mejor Guión Original”, “Mejor Película Extranjera” y “Mejor Película”.
“Parasite” logró algo que ninguna película de habla no inglesa había hecho, ganar la estatuilla a la “Mejor Película”. Muchas nominadas a la “Mejor Película Extranjera” compitieron por este galardón, pero ninguna se lo llevó. Bong Joon Ho había adelantado: “Una vez superada la barrera de los subtítulos, descubrirán películas maravillosas”. Así ocurre con este film surcoreano.
