Esta mañana, Issa Rae y John Cho revelaron la lista de nominados a los Premios Oscar 2020 desde Los Ángeles. Este año se celebrará la edición número 92 de la entrega de premios de la Academia. Por segundo año consecutivo la ceremonia no tendrá anfitrión. Como se esperaba, Joaquín Phoenix compite como “Mejor Actor” por su actuación en “Joker“, siendo uno de los favoritos.
Como informó El Intransigente, tras arrasar en los Golden Globes y los Critics´ Choice Awards, la película coreana “Parasite” logró hacer historia colándose en la competencia en las ternas de “Mejor Película”, “Mejor Director”, “Mejor Película Extranjera”, “Mejor Edición” y “Mejor Diseño de Producción”. Scarlett Johansson cumple con nuestras predicciones y recibe su primera nominación a los premios por partida doble, figurando como “Mejor Actriz” por “Marriage Story” y “Mejor Actriz de Reparto” por la cinta de Taika Waitit “Jojo Rabbit”.
“1917”, “Once Upon A Time in Hollywood”, “The Irishman” y “Joker” continúan entre los firmes favoritos compitiendo entre sí en diferentes categorías, pero finalmente aparece una nueva competidora ignorada en otras premiaciones: “Jojo Rabbit“. “Avengers: Endgame“, por su parte, de sus múltiples intentos, se cuela en el rubro técnico con “Mejor Efectos Visuales”. La ceremonia y los resultados finales se conocerán le próximo 9 de febrero en el Dolby Theatre de Los Ángeles, dando cierre a la actual temporada de premios.
